Hey everyone! I know it's been awhile. School's been kicking my butt, but I have been working on a little something and here it is! Since I want to work in the fashion industry, in particular journalism and styling, I thought it was about time I create a styling portfolio. As this wasn't the first time I've picked out other peoples looks, I had yet to document it, so I organized a fun photoshoot with friends and other creatives from my school. It was great collaborating, as we were all helping out one another with our own portfolios (modeling & photography) and work.
Unfortunately chilly season is upon us. Being born and raised in Chicago, I know layering is the necessary move. Here are some of my favorite fashionable ways to do it:
Mix & Match Patterns
Striped Shirt: Target / Dress: Zara / Boots: NastyGal / Earrings: h&m / Clip: Kitten & Clipps
or... Neutralize a Print
Long Sleeve Crop & Bodysuit: Aritzia / Skirt: Lovers+Friends (Revolve) / Black Tights / Shoes: Sam Edleman / Clip: Kitten & Clipps
Warm Up A Crop Top
Jacket: Tinsel (Nordstrom) / Turtleneck: Forever21 / Tube Top & Jeans: Topshop / Booties: Steve Madden / Clips: Kitten & Clipps
Color Block
Sweater: Forever21 / Tank: Brandy Melville / Bodysuit: Princess Polly / Jeans: Revive / Sneakers: Nike / Clips: Kitten & Clipps
Stay Fab,
Style & Repeat
